Some Velvet Sidewalk’s Al Larsen and Pastels drummer Katrina
Mitchell team up for a set of spastic weirdo-pop that sorta sounds like
Jonathan Richman with a cold. I honestly don’t know how these International Pop
Underground keep finding their way into my record collection (oh wait, yes I
do. I keep buying them because I see that shield around the K and my heart
skips a beat even though the IPU stuff is very hit or miss).
