This record isn't very good. It does have the song “Bluster in the Air” on it, though, and that song is great. Mostly this sounds like a bunch of Canadians who have listened to to much urban radio. Soundwise though, it's pretty evident that this band evolved from P:ano. There's a lot of chamber-pop-esque instrumentation and they have a lot of the same tics as Parenthetical Girls, yet minus the theatrical quality that makes that band great. Although, I will say the second side of this record is better, but ultimately it's a little forgettable and this really just sounds like indie-pop filtered through some “urban jams.”
Love this song though!
